Welcome to

Eltham Netball Club Inc

INTEGRITY - RESPECT - RESPONSIBILITY - FAIRNESS - SAFETY

The Eltham Netball Club was established over 15 years ago as a family orientated club with a strong focus on developing netball skills and driving a strong sense of community amongst its players and members. The club has grown over the years and currently competes in the Nillumbik Force Netball Association based in Diamond Creek.

The club currently caters for all age groups and skill levels and welcomes all genders. We currently offer a Net Set Go program for all children aged 5 upwards and have teams at the U9 all the way up to U17/19 level. Our doors are always open for anyone who wants to start playing netball, regardless of the time so if you are interested in giving netball a go please feel free to contact our club at the following email address info@elthamnetballclub.com.au

We train at St Helen Secondary College, Wallowa Road in St Helena on Tuesdays with Net Set Go training from 4:15-5:00 pm and U9 and U11 training from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Our U13, U15 and U17/19 age groups train from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

Parents, guardians and carers are invited to get involved too; whether it's supporting from the courtside to helping as team managers, coaches or even serving on the committee we value your participation. For further information please email the club at info@elthamnetballclub.com.au

Child Safe Standards

On 1 July 2022, the Victorian Government’s new 11 Child Safe Standards became effective and will be the responsibility of everyone in the Netball community to ensure they are implemented and embedded in the culture of Eltham Netball Club and incorporated into our Codes of Conduct.

Eltham Netball Club adopts Netball Victoria’s Commitment to Child Safety:

Every person in the netball community has a responsibility to understand their role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and young people in our care.

Netball Victoria is committed to promoting and protecting the rights of children and preventing abuse from occurring by fostering a culture where children feel safe and empowered.

We also seek to ensure the cultural safety of First Nations children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds and children with a disability.

The 11 Child Safe Standards can be found on the Child Safeguarding resources hub on the Netball Victoria website. Families are invited to be involved by contributing any ideas via Eltham Netball Club Committee vicepreselthamnc@gmail.com

Eltham Netball Club can be contacted via info@elthamnetballclub.com.au or secretary.elthamnc@gmail.com
